Website Accessibility Statement
Overview
Lodi Unified School District is committed to ensuring accessibility of its District and school websites for all students, parents, and members of the community, including those with disabilities. Some users with or without disabilities may not be able to see, hear, or process some types of information; may have difficulty reading or understanding text; or may not be able to use a keyboard or mouse. We are currently working with FinalSite to convert to new websites that are designed to be compatible with website readers and other technology that can make the information on the website more accessible to everyone.
LodiUSD continues to review and update its website to ensure compliance with current and future standards. We have contracted with Siteimprove to ensure that all pages on LodiUSD websites will conform to the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative’s (WAI) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at Level AA conformance, or updated equivalents of these guidelines.
Most of the information provided on LodiUSD websites is in HTML format. Longer documents are sometimes provided in Google Docs or in PDF format. Adobe Systems provides a User Guide that provides guidance on accessing PDF documents for visually impaired users of screen reading technology.
Third Party Content
LodiUSD occasionally relies on third party content and has no control over the accessibility of that content. Please contact us if you have trouble accessing third party content and we will provide you with alternative versions of the content.
Contact
If you experience difficulty accessing content on our website, please contact LodiUSD’s Public Information Officer at cvongehr@lodiusd.net or (209) 331-8043. We will help you resolve the issue or provide the information in an alternative format.
