Mock Interview Event ~ 2013This text will be replaced
Mock Interview Event
On behalf of the students and staff of Lincoln Technical Academy, I want to thank the nearly one hundred community members who volunteered their time to serve as interviewers in our second annual school-wide mock interview event. Lincoln Technical Academy “puts education to work” by immersing students from all area high schools, private schools, charter schools and adults in current, industry-relevant training environments that prepare them for careers in a variety of viable industries. The mock interviews assisted nearly six hundred students in developing the critical skills they will need to stand out in a crowd of applicants. By all accounts, they performed superbly! I had the opportunity to speak with many of our students as they exited their interviews. They all felt extremely positive about their performances. Toward the end of the day I asked one young lady what she took away from the experience. With a huge smile, she replied, "I realize that I have a lot more to offer than I originally believed. And that gives me more confidence in myself." Wow! That is your gift to our students. Thank you, again, for your valuable gifts of time and expertise!
A huge Thank You to the following volunteers who donated their time to our students.
